My Collection

I am trying to complete a master set of 1998 Bowman chrome cards, especially the bowman chrome golden anniversary serial #'d to 50.  I hope to collect one of each card issued except for the Bowman chrome Golden Anniversary Refractors that are serial numbered to only five copies.  This means that I am collecting 5 versions of each of the 441 chrome cards issued plus 2 versions of each of the 50 RC reprint inserts.  This results in a total checklist of 2,305 cards!  At present I have 2,258 different cards, or 98% of my master set checklist.

This set has been quite a project so far, and a few collectors have been so helpful in my pursuit of this set that they need to be acknowledged: Lee Biars was also working on a golden anniversary set- his extreme generosity is greatly appreciated.  Erik Olson cracked a ton of this wax and has been a veritable clearinghouse for cards on my checklist and a great guy to deal with.
